The top faucet trends for 2017

If you are planning of remodeling your bathroom, you have a lot of big decision to take. Choosing the cabinets and the tiles are one of them, but don't underestimate the importance of choosing the accurate bathroom faucets. The variety of styles, materials, and finishes can be overwhelming.
There is a few technical points to consider to choose the right faucet, as the number of opening in your sink, if you want a two-handles or a single-handle faucet, and the spout high and reach.
Obviously the selection of the faucet design is important too, you’ll probably live with your new faucet a long time, so you might as well love it. To give you a hand and avoid falling into too conventional choices, here are the hottest faucet trend for 2017.

This year is all about brass! You can see it everywhere from lighting appliances to cabinet hardware. It looks great combine with dark or light color, and will add a touch of elegance and shine to your bathroom. Stay away from yellowish brass, prefer the brushed or the brown ones.
The good think about brass is that it works as fine with modern faucet design than with the more classic ones.

Black fixture is an other trend which is going to stay. If you are a lover of minimal design this can be a great option. Black faucets look especially well combine with white geometric tiles and marble. To avoid a too austere decoration you can also combine them with natural elements, as wood cabinet, sisal rug and rope baskets. Adding some plants is always a good idea to give life to a minimal space.
Considers also that if your water distribution is limestone, these faucets will required a careful maintenance to keep them black shine.

Copper has been around for a few years now, but it will not leave any soon. Copper has been used for along time in plumbing but mainly for pipes. It's now all over the house, and the bathroom makes no exception. You can choose to use hardware supplies and build you own faucet, with copper pipes and fittings. If you don't have plumber skill just use copper faucets. Go for a modern design, what looks great is the contrast between this traditional material and a modern shape.
